Mexico's original Pacific Riviera playground remains the crown jewel of the glittering coastline for many cognoscenti(naturally we are neutral on the subject).

No question there's no shortage of attractions: the high velocity divers of la Quebrada, the golden beaches that ring the bay, the stellar shopping(market stalls to stylish mails) and scintillating nightlife, to mention a few favorites.

The cliffs of La Quebrada, where divers risk all as they plunge from up to 150 feet into small coves, water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, and waterskiing; the Mexican fiesta, Acapulco dance extravaganza, performed three nights a week.
